Coping with Injury in Sport
Having a sports injury can be difficult to cope with. Common struggles include a fear of re-injury, a sense of loss, a fear of not being selected again and struggles with emotions (anger, confusion, depression, disappointment, fear, frustration) to name a few.
If your athletes are either struggling injuries at the moment or would like some support with returning to sport then this session is ideal.
In this one hour session with me, you'll learn:
- Common psychological responses to injury
- Skills to manage behavioural responses
- Skills to manage emotional responses
- Ways to overcome fear of re-injury
This session is delivered online either by Skype, Zoom or Microsoft Teams on a day / time to suit you.
